SSF has strong liaison with relevant Ministries and Policy Makers, Islamic Foundation and other leading faith-based association like Bangladesh Buddhist Foundation, Bangladesh Christian Association, Bangladesh Hindu Society and Network of Imam and Religious scholars.
Internationally, SSF is linked with UN Agencies like “United Nations Office on Genocide Prevention and the Responsibility to Protect”, inter-government organization like “King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz International Centre for Interreligious and Intercultural Dialogue (KAICIID)”, a highly reputed organization that promotes inter-religious dialogue to prevent and resolve conflict.
The founder of the organization Mr. Syed Tayabul Bashar is an interfaith harmony activist from the Sufism background. Since years, he has been working to transform the largest religiously plural, but secular Sufi movement of Bangladesh into a modern organization into a modern organization in its struggle to cope with modernity and oppose the conservative and extremist version of religions. He is actively involved in several faith-based associations. He is also involved in different International interfaith forum. He was engaged in the launching of the “Islamic Curriculum on Peace and Counter Terrorism” by Minhaj-ul Quran International held in London in 2015. In 2017 UNDP Bangladesh nominated him as Bangladesh representative in a Regional Interfaith Meeting titled “Fostering Inclusive Societies in Asia: The role of religious Leaders” organized by the UN Office for the Prevention of Genocide in Bangkok.
